Candy & Lacee Design Studio is the creative home of Kathryn Haesner.
Whilst studying Fashion Design at Lette Design School in Berlin, Candy & Lacee was established as a fashion label. The creative, melting pot of Berlin formed an abundance of ideas, which set the scene for an ever-changing collection without following seasonal fashion industry trends.
Moving from Berlin to Melbourne as a young mum changed the focus of the small enterprise. Today the fusion of fashion, art, computer illustrations & design, create unique Toys, Wall Art and Homeware.
A lot of inspiration today comes from the amazing Australian Wildlife and the diverse colours and textures of the great outdoors. Designs are then brought to life using funky vintage fabrics & fabulous Op Shop finds.
Candy & Lacee supports handmade quality and local production. Everything is sourced and made in Australia. All materials are selected to promote an eco friendly, environmentally conscious life style. The use of recycled textiles, creates unique, fun objets d’art.
